06 / Firebox
Straight answers.
The questions people ask most before they book.
How often should my chimney be cleaned?
Once a year if you use it, ideally before the first fire of the season. If you burn a lot of wood, or wood that isn't fully dry, it can need it sooner.
I only burn gas logs. Do I still need this?
Yes. Gas doesn't leave the black buildup wood does, but your chimney still carries carbon monoxide out of the house. Nests, debris, and crumbling logs can block that path. A yearly look keeps it open.
How do I know it's time?
Smoke drifting into the room, a strong smell from the fireplace, black flaky or tarry buildup you can see, or a crackling sound in the pipe. Or simply, it's been a year.
Do you work on wood stoves?
Yes. The stove, the pipe, and the chimney.
Can you install a gas insert or a new fireplace?
Yes. Gas inserts, gas log sets, new fireplaces, and full chimney chases built from the frame up. You can see some of that work above.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, both.
What areas do you cover?
Greenbrier, Conway, Vilonia, Mayflower, Oak Grove, Bee Branch, Clinton, Damascus, Perryville, and Little Rock. Not sure you're in range? Call and ask.
